We proudly welcome Adinda Meertins to the Basswitch endorser family

2015 Latin Gammy best new comer award winner with Monsieur Périné, Adinda Meertins studied double bass at the Rotterdam Conservatory, Codarts.

During her studies she already played with some of the best latin ensembles in Europe like Nueva Manteca and Lucas van Merwijk’s Cubop City Big Band and in 2007 she traveled to Cuba to have lessons with Orlando ‘Cachaito’ Lopez.

In 2009 she graduated and in 2013 she received a scholarship to study in New York with Andy Gonzales, Ruben Rodriguez and John Benitez.

Over the years Adinda has become a ‘first call’ bass players of the latin and tango scene, tours the world with various bands and, because of her classical background, plays with symphony orchestras, string ensembles. In her rare free time she like to do educational projects such as school concerts and workshops.

Adinda says about her Basswitch:
